'Freedom day' and beyond
From July 19th, it will no longer be mandatory to wear a face covering in retail stores in England, and we will no longer be legally required to follow the 'COVID secure' social-distancing and hygiene precautions which we have had in place up until now. However, for the on-going protection of our staff and customers we will be maintaining many of these precautions, and would politely ask all visitors to do so as well.
Please consider wearing a face covering. Our staff will continue to use masks or face shields when dealing face-to-face with customers.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided on entering the store.
Please consider booking an appointment for fitting of ski or walking boots, as this helps control visitor numbers in store.
For ski or walking boot fittings:
Due to the close proximity required for fittings, we ask that you do wear a face covering unless exempt.
Please bring your own clean ski or walking socks, or be prepared to purchase a new pair, as we no longer offer 'try on' socks during fittings.
Fittings are for a maximum of two people. We do not have space in the boot fitting area for observers, so please avoid bringing other people with you.
