Enter the Tecton the newest edition to the Fritschi binding family with a mix of a tech toe and an alpine heel. It combines the technical concept of alpine bindings with the walking comfort and the light weight of pin bindings. The Tecton 12 bridges the gap to free touring, with an integrated rail system in the heel unit that slides vertically into the back of the AT boot where the pins would normally go, this provides added contact to help improve the overall power and lateral stability of the ski. The combination of the new toe of the Vipec Evo 12 (pin) and the revolutionary heel with a hold-down system comprising an alpine heel with Power Rail and a minimum weight of an incredible 550 g (per unit) results in extra power and even more safety. All parts are manufactured in Switzerland and assembled into high-quality products in Reichenbach. After the assembly, every binding undergoes a meticulous quality control process, including a functional test.
