Ventilated Shoes
In hot weather conditions, a ventilated shoe will be considerably more comfortable than a waterproof lined model. The limited breathability of waterproof lining materials (even premium linings like Gore-Tex and Sympertex) is easily overwhelmed as it gets warm, meaning that your foot will end up hot and very damp from sweat. Ventilated models will keep your feet cooler and drier. Even if your feet do get wet due to rain, dew or stream crossing, the water will escape again (because there is no waterproof barrier stopping it), and the shoe will dry quickly.
